about

The ol' mine car dances with dropping off the rails!

the furnace indeed. from the inside and close up. the molecules falling inward.
- it is my own Inferno - there is no salvation here - we learn to savour the whiffs burning flesh .... or as Frank put it, 'my geetar wants to kill yo Mama'
8 min wonderland... pushing back the boundaries of sound
all the best intros are accidents! I like to pull those boundaries too

in terms of experimental your the Daddy

Cool panning and multi layering - that part of a track is just as important as playing - again, it is like a painting, putting in colours/sounds in certain spaces, putting them on top of one another so they affect/effect one another - allowing gaps, or making it opaque - having a wash of tone or splashing and stippling

Microtonal loveliness, creating a strange, forbidding world
Yes, everything is twisted and turned away from concert pitch and equal temperament - it comes out evil - this is why the church tried to forbid certain intervals!

Wonderful sound painting. .. It is painting rather than playing - brush strokes - more often using the pallet knife!

silver light beckons... Light at the end of this infernal tunnel Dante?
:
Sweltering heat, gurgling gasses explode, gauges cracked, spinning madly from my spacesuit
Synthaesthesia again - I can smell sounds and I can hear smells - or rather sounds can evoke smells - I can hear the smell of the furnace in this one

Stunning visuals - synaesthesia - I see sounds and hear colours!

lyrics

Aridity thick with fetid
stench of smithie's smoke

smelting
molten steel
melting

iron ore
ithyphallic crimson

Lady Venus
mined
pitted
horizon
