I had been working on the piece this week, but felt it needed something, So then I got the headless out with the Korge and did that insane ending - that's what it needed.
I'm still reeling from that ending - I pulled out the headless which I hadn't played for a while, and put it through the Kaoss pad and then swiped it [that's whooshing sound], and then found this great pitch-shifting delay which reared up like an enraged stallion. Things like that pure spontaneity - and it took minutes .... . This is all totally magical. And Jimi is the king of all this ... play sound not notes
Yep. the sounds are what matters, nothing more. The KP the great thing is it rewards a certain "this isn't a regular instrument" approach - signs, sigils, seals, they all have an aural character that wouldn't be gotten by simply twisting knobs.
: yeah - you can draw shapes on it, runes and things - and use different materials, drop them on there ...
they are large, matted and wet, and they are howling on the rocky shore
that's one guitar [Hohner headless with Steinberger trem] through the Korg Kaoss which kicks out some insane delay

very conversational. love it.: using the echo to get a call and response, but the phrases are all done with a '?' or a '!' - Question Mark and the Mysterions

quite vocal, right there: whammy pedal helps get that
